You'll install l4dtoolz on addons folder.

Ok, apparently L4DToolz isnt working properly for me and my Linux server. I turned sv_visiblemaxplayers -1 and it showed my server had a max of 8 slots in Status and HLSW. So that shows to me that either L4DToolz is installed incorrectly, or the "new" gamedata that i put in, isnt new. or my commands in the server.cfg are incorrect. Not sure what to do.

I have up-to-date L4DToolz L4D2 version. and the L4D2 Gamedata that i replaced in the L4DToolz Gamedata folder. I added the cvars from the OP into the server.cfg and restarted the server and still only showing 8 max slots available.

Any ideas? I know Superversus is working because i have 8v8 bots right now, and if people join i can have all 8 people on one team if i'd like. Its just accessing those remaining slots that i need.

FIXED: Changed GSP and Switched from Linux to Windows. L4DToolz works like a charm. ;)

This cvar "sv_allow_lobby_connect_only 1" is set incorrectly to unreserve the lobby since your going with unreserve when full not all the time i would delete this command, correct connect_only setting is 0 not 1.

To have it unreserved all the time use sm_cvar sv_force_unreserved 1 instead of l4d_unreserve_full 1

With only Meta mod, Sourcemod, and L4DToolz installed, and the OP's "new gamedata" and server.cfg cvars, i cant get it passed 8 slots. Status says 8 slots, HLSW says 8, but i have enough slots from my GSP, and my command line is set 18, and so are my l4dtoolz cvars are set to 18 as well..

I dont know what im doing wrong? I even tried removing the clientpref and reservedslots plugins that came with Sourcemod like you suggested, and still same outcome.

EDIT: I decided to remove L4DToolz, and remove Downtown 2, and install Downtown 2 with Playerslots Build. Success. That allowed status to show 18 slots, and HLSW to show 18 slots available. I have no clue why L4DToolz did not work for me, i was very careful and went step by step, and triple checked my work and cvars. I know for a fact i installed them in the correct locations, including the new gamedata.

i wouldnt bother with this at all sm_cvar sv_force_unreserved if your using l4d_unreserve_full 1 with remove lobby when full plugin, careful with all those posts you might get banned for bumping and adding similiar questions on l4dtoolz would be seen as cross bumping by a modarator, edit the previous post with your updated questions or reports instead.

Thanks for all the help, changed GSP and went with Windows OS. Worked on first install and first attempt. Works perfectly. Thanks again. I'll delete my other posts and be more careful, next time. ;)

Weird problem here. L4D1, Linux.

sv_maxplayers 8
sv_visibleplayers 8
sv_visiblemaxplayers 8
sv_removehumanlimit 1
sv_force_unreserved 1

The command line is set to 8. However, more than 8 players can connect. It shows full in the server browser. But when using the 'connect' command, players are able to join the game. I've seen 13/8 just recently. I cannot figure this out. I migrated from Windows to Linux using the same config files. Never had this problem with Windows.

I also use Bebop and Zombie Havoc.

i dunno could be bebop thats designed for over 20 standard limit is 18 have you got downtown extention installed as well?

i find getting more players when its unreserved very difficult so if it were me id be over the moon with 13 let alone 8 im geussing your talking about coop?

seems easier with coop or survival to get players to join when unreserved but versus that dont seem to join much at all. your very lucky ;) sorry i cant be of more help.

PS multislots would be the alternative to bebop but has issues with vesus but i geuss thats not an issue since bebop only works with coop nothing else, ive tried but I lack the codeing skill to make it work 100%
