There are references to sounds and materials that don't exist in L4D1 or 2. I'd make changes, but there are already enough versions floating around. Anybody want to check for the modname before adding those sounds and materials?

Particularly the energy effects that come out the jetpack.. the sparks show up but from certain angles the Pink/Black checkerboard does too. I edited it out in one of the versions' jetpack.sp but I wasn't sure how to compile or where to put all the other .inc files that are uploaded.

why dont any of the convars work for this plugin?

my jetpcks are working fine, but every player can use it!

sm_adminonly flag doesnt work.. even sm_jetpack 0 doesnt even work

none of the convars work for me.. just says unknown command. but the jetpack is working fine?

how the hell can I get use of these convars so i can actually limit the jetpack usage in my server?

With the latest I have noticed that occasionally the jetpacks won't worry when the round starts. Then a few minutes later I'll try again and it's working. An annoyance only, but a bug..

I made some changes for the L4D folks who see the annoying purple/black checkerboards. I made a conVar that allows you to disable the jetpack visuals.

I have it installed correctly cause when I try it it works fine. BUT when I have my friends type in bind key "+sm_jetpack" it makes me fly up when they hit it.

What is wrong and how do I fix this ?

I don't know if you're aware, but the command (depending on which version you've acquired.. get the latest!) has changed to +jetpack

I have never experienced what you're saying, but I've read about it. Active development seems to have kind of died so I decided to try to help out. If it exists in the latest (up a few posts) let me know and I'll fix it.

Ok I got the latest version and still none of the other people on my server can use the jetback. Again if they bind "+jetpack" all it does is lift me instead. I have made all the settings in the cfg file to allow other people to use the pack.

Here is our latest version that:

• replaces sm_jetpack_sound with sm_jetpack_start_sound, sm_jetpack_loop_sound and sm_jetpack_stop_sound;
• replaces sm_jetpack_out_of_fuel_sound with sm_jetpack_empty_sound;
• Adds enhanced effects for TF2;
• Disables EnergySpash effects in l4d & l4d2 (which, apparently, are purple checkerboards there);
• Added an OnJetpack() forward.
