First Time Running A Server = IP : 10.0.0.1:27015

Hi, Everybody

when I run HLDS Its says :

IP Address : 10.0.0.1:27015

When my friend trying to enjoy my server, They cannot get in, like the server is even running.

I wonder what the is the problem? I just install all CS files, I don't have any mods/plugins/amxmodx. I didn't install them yet.

I wonder if someone could help me?

This is your global ip, give that ip address to your friends and then they can "enjoy" your server.

I forgot to mention that I was giving my friend the IP of www.whatismyip.com
Its doesn't work.

Oh no, yet another port forwarding issue. Oh my words.
Do you know anything about "port forwarding"?

Umm, I know that I should have some open ports to allowed people to join because when its block people cannot join.

However if you could give me a small explanation I'll be grateful

The explanation is in your tittle log-in to your local ip address.
http://10.0.0.1

You'll get some log-in screen enter password (if you've) and hit enter button see what appears. If you don't know the password you can't do anything.

NOTE:
Do not blame me if my instructions are hassled this is how I do.
Also, I don't know how to encourage people to use search option or teach them for doing that either.

Log to my local IP address, what then?

Open server port?

Or, if your modem/router turns out to be using a different ip than 10.0.0.1, run 'ipconfig' to find out it's actual ip, listed as 'gateway'.

Then follow the next steps as mentioned in the manual of your router/modem.
