Hey guys. I just picked up a TI-84 plus calculator for school.

I'm interested in getting some games on it, and maybe getting to know the language they use, but that's besides the point:

How do I connect my calculator to the computer?

The calculator came with Calculator <-> cable and a USB cable.

I download the TI-Connect software, pluged in my thing, and nothing happens. TI-Connect won't recognize that my calculator is plugged in.

They talk about a TI-Connectivity cable or something - I swear to fucking god if I have to buy another cable I'm going to be so god damned motherfucking bitch ass fucking pissed.

I had to do the same god damned thing with my Video Camera.


And if I do need to get another cable, what in God's Green Earth does the USB do? My computer makes that little beep beep when I plug it in.

So, does anybody have any help for me? How do I connect my TI-84+ to my computer?

I've googled a lot, so I'd appreciate it if that wasn't your answer.

Yeah, that'd be cool, if I could get my calculator to work on my computer.

Common sense - I played around with it during my math class and managed to make tons of stuff that helps a lot and some games.
