Hello everyone.

I want to disable HLStatsX:CE completely because it reduces the performance of my servers. Both website and server plugin. The problem is that it's not me who installed it for the community i am head admin. It was another head admin but unfortunately he is inactive. So i don't know how i can do it and that's why i need your help. I googled it a bit, i also checked the forum here, the documentation and the FAQ as well. I didn't find anything useful. I moved the server plugin in the "disabled" folder. But how do i shut the website down? Please help me.

For the Gameservers:

Go to addons/sourcemod/plugins folder and delete hlstatsx plugin
Go to cfg folder open server.cfg and look for something like this:

logaddress_delall
logaddress_add Serveriport

Delete logaddress_add line

You are done with the communication of the Gameservers with the webpage.

For Linux go to ./var/www folder (assuming the webserver is there xD ) and delete hlstats related stuff. This is the hardest part you have to figure out your self. Nobody knows if your precursor have installed the stats and the demon on a own user or not. You can do the following to see where the demon gets startet:

crontab -e <- shows Cronjobs of the current user
sudo crontab -e <- shows Cronjobs of root user

ls -alF /etc/passwd <- shows "installed" users

I have already done the required stuff in the game servers.

If i'm right the OS is CentOS.

If the webpage is running, is it possible i delete all the webpage stuff? I don't think that is possible. I think that i should stop HLStatsX webpage from running as a first step and then delete the files. At least that's what works on Windows as far as i know. Btw deleting the website files is not what i want. What i want is just to stop it from running. I only want to shut it down.

Then go to ./var/www/ and look for the page files. If you want just the page to go offline then copy them to another folder and delete them in ./var/www/

If you want to shutdown the webserver, you have to google it how you do this in CentOS
