Ok so last night I tried putting 1.0.0.9h on and I got this:
Failed to load plugin addons/l4dtoolz/l4dtoolz_mm (/lib32/libm.so.6: version `GLIBC_2.15' not found (required by bin/libvstdlib.so)).

So we updated debian from 6 to 7 and now I'm getting this:
Failed to load plugin addons/l4dtoolz/l4dtoolz_mm (left4dead2/left4dead2/addons/l4dtoolz/l4dtoolz_mm_i486.so: undefined symbol: g_pMemAlloc).

Any ideas?

you didnt update to .9h - "l4dtoolz_mm_i486.so" this is the name of the old plugin

Ok so it turns out that I needed to edit my l4dtoolz.vdf to include ".so" at the end of the file to specifically load the right one. Works fine now.

edit: I did update to the right one, the included vdf was the only thing wrong.

I have this running under windows, on a co op server and it works allowing more than 4 players to enter the server. The one issue i have though is finding a plugin that is working which automatically adds a bot or allows the clients to manually add a bot thus allowing the additional clients to join the game instead of just staying as spectators and not being able to spawn / join.

Can i ask what plugin'(s) work (or what other plugins ppl here can reccomend) along side L4DToolZ that will assign / spawn additional bots automatically or manually when more than 4 clients are connected, i tried one or two and they seemed non functional or had issues.

EDIT: I am using l4dtoolz(L4D2)-1.0.0.9h.zip (windows build)

if that don't work try Multislots https://forums.alliedmods.net/showthread.php?t=132408
I've did use Multislots for over 2 years with no issues, that is up until the 2nd July Steam update which gave me error after error filling up entire log files. I now use Bebop which has no issues at all.

You need to add these to your server.cfg:
sv_maxplayers "whateveryouwant"
sv_visiblemaxplayers "-1"
sv_force_unreserved "1"

sv_removehumanlimit "1" is no longere needed since the update

Thanks Munch, i can confirm Bepop works.

One other question for yourself or others who might eb reading: When a survivor dies they get defibbed but the person who is defibb'd is the wrong person, for e.g. if i am Ellis and i defib another player who has the Ellis character it defibs myself and the other player goes to spectator.

What plugin'(s) would i look at using to fix this issue that is knowen to currently work.

ivailosp,

Since the update I get this server crash on a lot of custom campaigns: ED_ALLOC: No Free Edicts.

When I disable l4dtoolz everything is fine.

Any idea why l4dtoolz is creating so much additional entities? Or is this a bug?

well, it doesn't use any entities at all... anyway you can use Left4Downtown and see if the problem is reproducible
