Try to disable sourcemod plugins and then trying to enable them one by one in order to find out whether sourcemod itself or one of the plugins causes the problem.

Is this a linux or a windows server?

linux server. the only plugins i have running are mm:s and sm. mm:s works on it's own, but when I enable sm (sourcemod FYI) it does the freeze as outlined above.

Are you sure there are no other plugins? This includes VSP plugins like EventScripts.

the only addons i have installed are metamod source, and sourcemod. in the gameinfo.txt all i setup was the GameBin for metamod, and for plugins for metamod all i setup was the sourcemod link.
