AMX Mod X 1.8.1 isn't all that old (relative to the game itself). If you check the changelog, AMX Mod X 1.8.0 was released in October 2007 and 1.8.1 in 2008.
It looks like AMX Mod X was created after Valve's first release in 2003. |

The clients use is Beta 1.3b of dod with half-life 1.1.1.0 patches

After some investigation i found some severs *cough* we wont talk about those that are mostly running amx mod x 1.8.1 3746 with cs/tfc/sven-coop/half-life using won files.So i'm gueesing that's close to what i should be using?
I did try installing Version 0.1 amx mod install seemed fine dod files are sligthy different i think those are for Version 1.0 of dod (May 1, 2003)† lookin at the map plugins
We also tried amx mod x 1.8.1 3746 but couldnt install because it wants different paths
