Afaik, -autoupdate isn't even a parameter for CS: Source. At least, it's never worked with me.

My server also crashes upon a player joins. Windows 2003 Std Edition.

I manually updated my server and I am having issues when the DM mod is listed as a startup for MM

If it is a mandatory update, -autoupdate will update the server once the server is made aware on a mapchange. It does work, I'm just not sure if optional updates are applied with it.

Well thats strange. Never worked with me
I use -autoupdate as well and it works.


My server died but I just had to fix my gameinfo.txt file. Works fine now. I'm on a linux box btw.

Those of you who are having crashing issues, does it work if you just have metamod, cssdm, and stripper? I have both a linux and windows box that are unaffected by this update as far as I know, and I only have the aforementioned mods + mani.

Nope updates from valve are manditory, and cannot be rolled back.
