i have these error too :S im running the new metamod and the new sourcemod 1.4

as posted above, make sure the gamedata file is placed inside orangebox/cstrike/addons/sourcemod/gamedata

NOT orangebox/cstrike/gamedata

Below are the installation instructions for CSSDM 2.1 on the Orange Box version of CSS running under Windows 2008 Server Edition on a Datacenter Dedicated Hosting server box. I cannot attest to this working for Linux systems, so please reply if you are running Linux or not and whether or not it works so people know.

1. Install the latest version of MetaMod: Source (Version 1.82 or later). The download can be found here: http://www.metamodsource.net/

2. Install the Developer Version of SourceMod 1.4 found here: http://www.sourcemod.net/snapshots.php

3. Install CSS DM Version 2.1.0.1 found here: http://www.bailopan.net/cssdm/index.php?page=download

4. Download and unzip to patch file at the top of this thread. Patch the install of CSS DM Version 2.1.0.1 by doing the following:

• A. Download the patch file to your system.
• B. Unzip the patch file and you will see an "addon's" folder.
• C. Copy the "addons" folder contents to your server's \orangebox\cstrike\addons folder and overwrite the existing files there.

5. Add the following cvar line to your server's \orangebox\cstrike\cfg\server.cfg file:

mp_forcecamera 1 // Turns the Kill Camera off after you die |1-OFF 0-ON|.

This will disable the kill camera that shows your opponent when you die so you can respawn quicker.

6. Restart your server and everything should work.

THIS WAS ALL DONE ON MY SERVER AT 0900 AM PST ON 6/25/10 AND IT WORKED FLAWLESSLY. Other configurations may also work, but I can tell you this one works perfectly on my server and 18 people are playing there right now without a hitch. Updates are still coming forward so subscribe to this thread to stay on top of things.

Ok. First of all thanks for the very quick fix !

But there is an error in the zip file structure indeed. The gamedata folder is missplaced in the archive.

Unzip the archive but put the "gamedata" folder into your orangebox/cstrike/addons/sourcemod folder and it'll fix the problem.
