Player models don't work..

I am running a Dedicated Server with heroes with models, but only the weapon models and stuff appear. For example, with Master Chief, the weapon models are working fine. Darth Maul's knife is fine. All that stuff works, but the player models are not working. I can't see Swat's player model, HMG's, or any heroe's player model. Not even Morph (box). The files are in the correct place: dedicated server/cstrike/models/player/swat/swat.mdl. I'm not getting any error logs about this. !?!?!?!?

Are you checking models on other player or on yourself? because most heroes will remove the model upon death (at least they should)...

If you need to see the model on yourself you can use something like this plugin:

Well I already have Probe. The problem is though, take HMG for example, I'm looking at a fellow player with HMG, but I only see his default terrorist model, not the giant green guy. I see the proper m249 model in his hands, so the weapon model is working, but not the player model. And when I look at myself with probe, All I see is my normal CT model instead of Swat or HMG. Yes all my player models are in the correct folders: dedicated server/cstrike/models/player/name/name.mdl

you don't have cl_minmodels set to 1 do you?

Apparently not. I've checked all my folders and files, but I haven't found a cvar or setting that looks like that.

Wouldn't that effect weapon models as well as player models though?

Check your config.cfg file in your client cstrike folder not the server. That cvar would block changes to models.

Okay I found the cl_minmodels and it was 0. I changed it to 1, but player models still don't show. Gun models still work though...

That is incorrect you want it set to 0, if it is set to 1 it will only show 1 default model per team.
