Have you even gone in and edited your cvar? Then, rcon the cvar change above to make it take affect immediately (or just restart server if you dont know how to use rcon). My guess is that you changed your text file and thought that it would change just by changing the text file.

Oh, i know. I provided a working example a few posts above. You just need to add a space in front and then use the 15 csgo colors. The guy above said he wanted purple specifically though, so i just made him one in all purple.

You likely have multiple plugins hooking chat and printing the message. Paste your plugin list for further help.

Another possibility is that the version you modded for CS:GO is returning Plugin_Continue instead of Plugin_Handled. This would allow the unformatted, original message to display, in addition to the modified one.

I unloaded all three and it didn't work unfortunately. Still duplicating the console messages
