I used to have a knife clan called the knife crew. My tactic was 1slash in the head and then stab.

If your in a knife fight with someone else, its best to do a slash cause you have a longer reach so they'll miss their stab and then you go in for a stab after the slash.

If your going after someone with a gun stab then slash is definately better.

If you can strafe effectively you wont have any problems hitting that first stab.

Im more of a one stab then mess with them, just start slashing them etc.

Just hit them in the jugular. Theyll be too light headed real soon to actually do anything and it would be a real messy way to go.
