Ok, I understand, but I do not want to change the plugin, I just wish that the players live players live the other team.

EXAMPLE

The anti-terrorist living can talk to terrorists living.

But they do not hear dead players talking among themselves.

K thanx for the clear-up. Than i have done it right in the server.cfg.

Must say i havent seen it kicking in in Dod:s yet. So will keep my eyes open.

I'm sorry to hear you it isn't working for you in Day of Defeat. In my Known or Potential Issues section I say, "I haven't actually tested this plugin in any mod but Counter-Strike: Source, but there's no reason why it shouldn't work, as long as the other games used the 'round_end' event."

So mr magotchi ur sayin that:
-sm_deadtalk 1
Dead t hear living t and dead ct and vice versa and dead ct can talk to dead t ?
-sm_deadtalk 2
Everyone can talk to each other and hear each other.

Is that right, coz imma gonna try that thing now.

Edit:
btw. did You try strontiumdog on sm 1.3? My friend has a server running sm 1.3 and that plugins is working correctly.

For clarity, I didn't make sm_deadtalk. It's built into SourceMod. I only helped fix a bug for it so that it now works correctly when sv_alltalk gets changed. This fix is only present in the latest 1.3 and 1.4 snapshots.

sm_deadtalk 1: Dead players can hear everyone else in the server, period.

sm_deadtalk 2: Living players can hear their dead teammates.

strontiumdog is a person, and he makes many plugins. What plugin are you talking about? Are you talking about Dead Alltalk? If so, it's pretty clear from reading the last page or so in the thread that I'm not the only one having the issue with the plugin.

Either way, that plugin has nothing to do with this plugin. Dead alltalk functionality really doesn't have anything to do with this plugin. I only mention it in the plugin's thread because my other, now defunct, plugin with a similar name had dead alltalk functionality.

oh sorry.

When i read my post now I had problems understanding what I meant. gratz for You to understand what I was talking about lol.

I'm writing here bcoz You gave up on dead alltalk functionality and maybe that was a mistake.

You said that your dead alltalk and striomtumdog's plugins are similiar and I'm saying that my friend has sm 1.3.3 on his server and dead alltalk works fine in there, doesn't stop working after 3 rounds.

I was just asking, if You tried to run your plugin on sm 1.3.3 after valve update...

Thanks for the heads-up on it, but I don't feel like doing anything with that plugin, as using this plugin with sm_deadtalk 1 does everything I used to use that plugin for (the ability for dead players to hear everyone else).

Other people are welcome to use, update, or modify that plugin to their tastes, but sm_deadtalk 1 does everything I need.

Ah that's sad.

Just one more thing, just to let You know, I've tried that plugin just now with sm 1.3.3 on my own serv and it's working correctly.
