AMX File when downloading AMXX?

um.. i downloaded some superheros and it says there AMXX VERSION but it gives me a .AMX file..? why is this and how do i make it AMXX? like when i download this hero which says AMXX VERSION why does it give me a .amx and it doesnt work with AMXX

when u download a hero off this site it opens a .zip file and if u have winzip i have the awnser
the zip comes with two .amx's and a .amxx
scroll to the far right off the winzip and you will see amx / amx9.8 / amxx so if you have amx 9.9 get the one labeled amx if u got 9.8 get the amx9.8 and for amxmod x get the amxx

but heros like hero:blade and hero:soccor freak and hero:electro come with only AMX files. Go check it out, i really want to try them out.

here is a link to blade, it says amxx version but when i download it and open it, its a amx file.

this happens to mostly with heros made by asskicker .. ?

ya alot of heros onl have amx files and not amxmod x its jsut liek that and thats why i switched my server to amx 9.9

horrible idea, do not do it. it is probably the worst thing you could do. it would be better to go to amx 9.8 which i still would not recommend. i answered your post about this in Blob's hero post. go read it. stick with amxx as i believe soon only amxx will be supported here.

Those files were compiled for amxmodx 0.20, when amxmodx still used the .amx extension. Just recompile the plugin.
