It was made for 1.04, as a MM plugin.. I suggest you contact that author and ask them to upgrade it... it might already be done on www.modns.org

by cover I assume you mean hover... It can be done .. but if you do that should should also make it so lerks can then also hover.. other wise it's unfair.
