Well, now that my community take's up all of my freetime, i would call this as the final version. But i may fix it later. The screenshot doesn't work after my HD crashed for some months ago.

Works fine. Doesn't generate it any problems if the count of gb entries reaches some size? Wasn't there any limit for motd-messages or was it only the motd.txt? Don't remember .

This demo recording script is capable to handle a users input. Any chance you implement this feature?
A user menu, some minutes after teamjoin, asking to read/write the guestbook would be great as well.

I dont see how i would implement that, it's client-side as much as i can read. The only way to implement that is to write it into users userconfig.cfg, witch is classed as slowhacking.

damn it doesnt work properly, if i set flag admin_all, any non admin user cannot write, if i set admin_user none of admins can write, can the writing be allowed to all users regardless of admin or nonadmin ?

It should work whit ADMIN_ALL flag, i have tested it and i know it works.

hmm i had a version with cvar that was setting permission, lets see newest version...

i think it works, but the guestbook(the one that is send to clients) has 1500bytes limit, so i could setup ftp.exe to upload it to a web server, and then use /guestbook command to view motd thru a website


if someone is interested i could post how to do this here

Only way to upload the guestbook to a webpage is to make it SQL.
