I've figured that one out.

Can it be done so the map selection shows a variety of the maps (with map names) instead of using just the 3 map option.

- What permissions do people need to use the war_menu command in the source mod, like minimum permissions for use of it.

- How do you make it so the list of maps display the actual map names?

- When you select the map in the menu, it doesn't actually change to any map. (Is this just me, am I missing something or need to change things?)

It's a good plugin which I have just installed and it is generally a new concept for me that I'm trying to figure out.

- Admin must have the slay flag in order to use this plugin. It's a high level but this plugin cause the server to be totally out of control for at least 2 maps if you use it wrong so It's like a security.
Give access to my plugin to only trusted people.

- I used this code as an exemple and adapt it a little:

The way the plugin is now, users have to input the the maps for Map1, map2 and map3.

eg.
war_map1 dod_anzio
war_map2 dod_donner

My question is; Can the map menu exist so it shows all of the maps in the maplist.txt file, instead of users inputting the map.

It already does it! In the submenu "Choose Maps"/"Map1" , you choose the map1, and idem for map2 and 3.

You do not need to manually type the commands war_map1

Do not forget to set the war_mapfile variable to the file you want to use.

Define war config file:

Depends on league, there are different war config.

war_configfile (or in chat !war_configfile)
war_tvfile (or in chat !war_tvfile)
war_mapfile (or in chat !war_mapfile)

Same syntax than to define teams (config files must be in the dod/cfg/ folder, mapfile in dod/)

Hello everyone
when you load the war settings, the plugin automatically starts the SourceTV
It would be possible to change this so that the TV is loaded only if indicated in the file tv.cfg?
thanks for your great work

In fact the plugin does start the SourceTV, but it doesn't start the recording.

So it just start the SourceTV in case you would record the match/scrim/whatyouaredoing.

To enable recording, you must put one of those lines in the tv file:

tv_autorecord 1
XOR
tv_record demoname (highly unrecommended cause it will always overwrite the same file)

Having a SourceTV running doesn't waste one slot cause another one is especially created for this.

Hi Puopjik,
The problem is this:
I have a server with 12 slots. When I load the configuration of war, SourceTV starts and then stops because the file tv.cfg is set to 0, but the server is with 13 slots.
I would need that does not happen. I need the server does not exceed 12 slots and SourceTV stopped
This would be possible if SourceTV only boots if indicated in the file tv.cfg
Thanks
Sorry for my bad English

Well I could do that, but I will release it only for you, cause your problem seems more a gsp problem which doesn't allow you to have 13 slots.

You should tell them to deal with the extra tv slot.

This version should not start the STv
