when you use.. tf_arena_use_queue 0 it basically unlocks any teambalance caps or team caps. so you can have as many people on a team as you wish.. but the tf2 balance doesn't seem to work.. also it doesn't seem to scramble after 3 rounds anymore if you use tf_arena_use_queue 0

oh, ok, then i don't think it'd be that hard to enable the plugin again with arena + queue = 0

I've had a problem w/ the force team balance. Sometimes it wont detect an imbalance when there clearly is one. Also, this is w/ version .74 I'm going to try .75 right now but just thought I'd give you the heads up about it.

I am having a hard time reproducing it...

does it happen only if red has more players, or blu?

edit, actually... i think i see what's wrong

im not on my home pc, so Ill upload a new file later...

Happened on .75 this time... more players on red than on blue, said there was no imbalance. Also I'm guessing it's something you did recently because it had been working well until lately

The main reason i made mine was for automatically triggered scrambling at the end of the tf2 bonus round:
- team wins x rounds in a row
- team gets x times more frags than other team
- or team wins in less then x minutes with x times more frags than the other team

mine sorts teams randomly or based on player scores

I also block the death event when it scrambles, so no suicides are logged when a scramble happens. So it won't mess with any stats addon

compare the descriptions on the first post

I've added a ton of things based on requests and feedback making this plugin able to do a buncha crap

hmmmm well I updated with the one you posted (still shows it being version 1.7.75 in plugins list) and the force balance still didn't detect the imbalance.

Situation was 2 more players on red than on blue, 2 players in spec. The auto balancer already said it would balance in 5 seconds but was taking forever for someone to die and switch over so tried the force balance and no imbalance was detected.

Since it works for you maybe it's something with my setup. It did work recently though. I remember within the last couple weeks or so you had an update where in your notes for that update stated you had fixed the auto balancer (I remember the problem @ that time it would say it balaced the teams when it had not) but that version worked perfectly from what I remember, so something's changed lately either w/ the plugin or w/ my server.

Thanks though for the continuous updates. It's definitly appreciated!

Also, when/if this gets working for me I was just curious if there is a message like the one I believe you added to clients when they are scrambled? If not I think it'd be nice for the players who are being force balanced to know why they were switched over with a similar center message, letting them know they were switched to balance out the teams.

EDIT: just realized all your release notes are in the source... so the version I was talking about and know definitly worked for me was 1.6.69.
