engine crashing

ive been noticing that when i have engine enabled i cant start up the server without it freezing on startup, this happening to anyone else.

post server spectification like
CPU type
operating system and method (listenserver/hlds?)
version of hlds
name and version of mod (cstrike 1.5 or 1.6 dod?)
versions of metamod(x) adminmodx,
version of installed plugins

if there are logs enabled what is in the logs

i made it from scratch and its a pc
both have the same problem
i dont know, im just using the one that is out on steam right now
cstrike 1.6
im using the metamodx posted on the site right now
and im also using the amxmodx thats posted on the site now

He means what CPU you have... this isn't very hard, it's "Pentium" or "AMD" and if you're feeling generous, a process speed too.

Are you making a listenserver?
