Ive never compilled an sp file before and tried it on the website but because it has sdkhooks it cant do it. Wondered if anybody could do me a favour and complile my attached sp file as ive changed the grenade model. Thanks in advance to anyone who can help.

place latest source folder on your hard drive, add sdkhooks folder to it as you normally would on a server, put your .sp in the scripting folder, click on compile.exe
.smx will be in folder "compiled"

Thanks mate ill have a go. I guess the sm folder can be anywhere on your hard drive?....ie documents

yes it can mate because its the environment you work within. /sourcemod/ is the root in this case. Everything goes in there as it would on your server. Let us know how you go.

yep it all worked and changed the path of the grenade model.......only problem though is the model which is uploaded and added to pureserver whitelist etc..etc but no download to clients, just big error sign instead of nade.
Its not the model as i have recompiled it and it shows up in model viewer in sdk
Any ideas?

restart map, check your pureserver for errors, all else fails use this its great
SM File/Folder Downloader and Precacher

read the info and check the examples. use the simple.ini file and set it right in server cfg

Sinblaster thanks mate that plugin did the trick....just forced the files to the clients and then the banana is now an 8 Ball....much appreciated for your time

Wow this may just reinvigorate my snowball fight project. Can any one of coders suggest the code to add to replace the nade in hand model, which I believe is called the view_model?
