I did a quick test with skinchooser and it seems to work , only thing is csgo-models use other skeletonsetup than source so you have to wait for new csgo-models.....

cs:go is pre-caching the 2 factions per map,
if someone comes from another server to yours and your server has different factions,
he will see models as ERRORS.

Hello guys!

I got a problem on my skins

Currently I've 6skins on the server, only one of them is working?! and 3of them is error sign, and last two is just standard skin :S

Just double check that all of the files are on both your game server and fast download server... check for anything in the error logs.

I have a question I'm hoping someone can answer.

CS:GO has tons of skins in it's .vpk file. If I want people to be able to choose a skin/model, do I need to extract those skins and have them download or am I able to just point to the location without having them download since it's already in the game files?

I tried to do one by listing it in the menu, and it popped up in the menu and selected it and nothing happend. So I'm guessing I am going to have to extract the models I want and they are going to have to have them download the skins again? I never listed it in the download file though since it was already in the gamefiles though.
