Title. I remember seeing a thread here but sadly the plugin itself made the server stutter while the demo was being saved (or something like that) so I didn't install it.
Basically I run a fun CS:GO server but it happens quite often that players flame each other in voice, and if a moderator is not there, it's pretty hard to figure who was attacked, who was right, who was wrong, etc etc
Also most of the times people will blatantly lie and say they are innocent and didnt start the flame or the argument or whatsoever in order to avoid being punished.
A server that records demos all the time and allows me to review them at any time would GREATLY help me ban the offenders.

I like having proof, the voice chat flame was an example but there might be more situations like griefind, and why not, cheaters.
Someone should really code this..

Interesting, I've never actually looked into GOTV.
I tried to enable it quickly but when I types tv_status it said GOTV not enabled.
I'll post my settings tomorrow. Thanks

Check that you dont have -nohltv in your startup line and check that you have tv_enable "1"

I have -nohltv, I thought it could be interfering and I removed it, then restarted the server via _restart but it didn't work.
I actually don't have direct access to the server itself, I mean the machine itself. I might have to ask my host to restart the whole thing after I removed -nohltv in order to get it to work.

So I set up the GOTV and it's now live on my server, but it made the sv and var spike a lot and they are now RED all the time
I am not even auto recording demos at the moment, it's just the GOTV enabled.

Here are the settings I placed in server.cfg:

I tried changing the delay to 30 seconds, maybe that helps. Idk. I'll see if that helps, but any more help is appreciated.
I also need a way to auto delete demos after a certain time: I tried using the plugin "Server Clean Up" from AM but there is no way to set a frequency for the clean up process lower than 12 hours. I actually need something like 1 hour for the demos, otherwise the server's space would be filled way too quickly.
I was wondering if a cronjob would help me, I posted in the thread but no response so far
