hi i have a very laggy server so i need help what do i put for sv_maxrate and crap like that as i have 300 or ram and where do i find my cpu???

you don't know what speed your CPU is and your running a server..... riiiiight.

When your compyter boots usually the CPU speed displays in all that text, or you can right click my computer and hit properties.

300Mb of ram is barly enough to run a server. I would suggest not using more than 12 player slots on a home internet connection, esp if its cable internet. Unless you have insane cable like Chivas who lives in NY.

is 504 of ram, 135 freespace of GB, T1, 3.00 GHz good to run a server?

that hardware is ok, not great but ok, get more ram and it would be fine but it is ok for now,

now it is all dependant on connection speed, it all works together
