Well, this does indeed allow the menu to come up. However, now there are other problems.

1. Bots refuse to move
2. Can't add any bots.

Sucks that MD has abandon us. =(

Hello,

I'm a pure noob at tweaking my server with mods that modify the " core " files.

I'll try to explain exactly what I want to have on my server.

I would like to have a totally normal, standard server, even if your plugin is running, and I would like to be able to change the gamemode when I want.

For example :

We are 8 in versus, standard game, no " more slot " phase, then, I change the map to a survival one, and all players are moved on it, not only 4. Of course it could be good if the difficulty were increased.

Edit : I also want to know if players can come automaticly on the server by searching a game with lobby. I know I can't create a lobby, but can they come by searching for a game with the matchmaking system ? And be redirected to my server randomly ?

Hey guys, I tried to get l8d working and I installed it correctly but I can't get l4d to stop trying to use the stupid lobby for everything.

If i type in console connect **.**.**.**.***** to access my DS, it just goes to the lobby anyway...

Because of this. I can't try out l8d because I get the message:

[SM] Server was started from lobby. Left8Dead can not start because mp_gamemode is locked

I've tried using the l4dtoolz yet it did not stop me from seeing the lobby. Is there some installation crap I'm just missing?

Awesome thanks so much for that. Now it's bypassing the lobby and I am using SuperVersus to kill the lobby reservation.

Now onto the next issue. When I type /sm_l8d_menu into chat, I no-longer get the gamemode is locked due to lobby error, but now I just see nothing happen. No menu popup or anything like that.

Should I downgrade to a lower version of it? I downloaded the current version linked on the page 1 post.

The problem is the 1.5.0 not work, the popup menu not appear.

However if you have a SuperVersus you not need have also L8D.

Simply start a Coop from Lobby, you have 4 extrabots when enter in Server, now invite the others 4 and play Coop in 8.

Remember you need to have survivor_limit to 8 in config
