I'm running amxx 1.6 and metamodx, and whenever i try to load the modules, I get a memory read error while the game is loading. When I turn the modules off, the game works fine. Any suggestions?

I followed your instructions, but when I click new multiplayer game it quits. So i wasn't enlightened.

you used the new amxx_mm.dll? because that fixes exactly the problem that I posted there for, so I don't believe you actually read or followed the directions

Yes, I used it, and I followed your directions. There's no longer any error message, rather, the game quits unexpectedly when I try to start a new game.

can you pinpoint a specific module? or is it any module?

It's all modules.

Yea, you have to remove all modules for it to work right...
Or at least that's what I did and it worked...
I'm waiting for the next listenserver fix...or I might just get a dedicated...

i had the same problem. If your running cstrike here is what i did. In my liblist.gam, make sure that:

gamedll "dlls\mp.dll"

is there.

Then open steam and right click on Counterstrike and make a shortcut on your desktop. The right click on the new shortcut and click properties. The look at the target line and add this at the end of it :

-dll "addons/metamod/dlls/metamod.dll"

Let me know if it work, if it doesn't, PM me or e-mail me, cuz i got other ideas..........
