The AWP - Single AWP Gameplay

v. 1.1.0

Features :

• Allows a single AWP in the whole map at all time. A dropped AWP is considered.
• Can be disabled below a certain number of players.
• Helps restricting AWP without having the classic 1 or 2 per team restriction.
• Since there is only one AWP at all time, the first AWPer will generally the quickest person to buy it.
• Since dropped AWP is considered; "trading" or giving it within good teamates is possible (no one can buy it while you drop it).

Known bugs :

• None at the moment.

CVars :

• theawpversion: Gives version -_-'
• ----------
• theawp : Is the plugin enabled ? 0=No, 1=Yes. Def. 1
• theawp_minplayers : Minimum number of players needed to have the plugin enabled ? Def. 8.
• ----------
• theawp_verbose_prefix : Prefix to the verboses' phrases used by this plugin.
• theawp_verbose_acquire : Display to other players when a player acquire the AWP. 0=No, 1=Yes. Default 1.
• theawp_verbose_acquire_delay : Delay in seconds between two verboses' phrases concerning acquiring the AWP. Prevent abuse. Default 7.5s.

Notes :

• Place "theawp.phrases.txt" in "translations" folder.

  • Now uses CS_OnBuyCommand (this didn't exist at the time the plugin was released). A player now won't be able to buy at all, rather than having it and losing it, making the player lose his previous gun for a moment.
  • Since the AWP can't be buy anymore, there is also no refund.
• Added german translation. Thanks to micazoid. (01-01-2013)

I'm not finished with AWPs. Only time is missing. However I believe I'll make another complete AWP-related plugin while this one will remain with the same concept.

It's 1 AWP in the FULL map (1 in both team).

For what you're describing I can tell 3 plugins having that feature :
