is it possible to make the map file mapcycle.txt not sure how I would tell it to go up directories from the config folder.

Put the line mapcyclefile "mapcycle.txt" in your server.cfg.

What I meant was the following setting:

• sm_mapchooser_file
  • Specify a map list to use for MapChooser.
  • This is relative to the Sourcemod folderDefault is "configs/maps.ini" (That is, addons/sourcemod/configs/maps.ini)

currently what I have done is copied my mapcycle.txt into mapcycle.ini and placed that at addons/sourcemod/configs/mapcycle.ini

the maps.ini is a list of all maps on the server because other plugins use this file as a master index of all maps. But i dont want mapchooser to display a vote with maps from a batch of everything because many maps are on the server that I dont want to be in the servers cycle. Get it? But I dont know how I can tell mapchooser to use mapcycle.txt because its default directory is Sourcemod. It would be nice if its default directory was cstrike that way I could just do:
sm_mapchooser_file mapcycle.txt

maybe just copy all the maps from mapcycle.txt to maps.ini ?

and yes it would be nice if the standart directory is cstrike
