I just want to hear other peoples' opinions if this kind of thing is considered normal. According to Asherkin, my common sense is wrong and reporting and punishing old posts is perfectly normal. Not to mention how "serious" my "crime" is - replying to a person who offended me in his language with my own language.

I'm not complaining much about the reason (even though it's a little overkill, but whatever), I'm complaining about the 2 year delay. If bumping old topics is not allowed, then why should punishing users for old posts be? The thread was bumped, someone didn't see the date and reported my post and the moderator didn't care it's old.

I'm aware that I'm in the wrong when it comes to the post itself, but I don't think that receiving an infraction after 2 years is acceptable.

Him: The report reason included the fact it was an old post. ------------------------------------------------- Me: So you're telling me that I can go ahead and search for old posts breaking the rules, report them and get moderators to reward users some "infractions"? Him: Unless the posts are directly affecting you, you will probably get asked to cut it out relatively quickly. Post reports are extremely annoying to deal with at the best of times, let alone when someone thinks they're being clever.
