Can anyone list exploits for HLDS server and give me a link or file name for the fix? My server is under attack and my server crashes on map changes and amx_bans 5.0 is no longer working. Im not new to modding servers and everything was working fine until my community refused to be bought out by a evil empire. My host is slow as fuck to respond to me as I have asked for them to update my servers to the latest Hlds Beta release.

hmm

reinstall amx/metamod incase if somebody has already installed a backdoor

lookup hlshield installation latest one is hlshield 2.11 beta which will block out attacks
only download amx plugins from here,

idk if this is whats wrong with yours

but check your mapcycle.txt or maps.ini it could be the reason why it takes long for map change

it did it to me once when i accidently removed all teh lines from my mapcycle, it would take forever to do a map change.

Map cycle and maps.ini were correct. I added the fast download fix and fixed the appropiate cvars that go with it. Then I had my servers updated to beta. That fixed it. Im very curious by the HL shield but cant find anything in english on it. Thanks Sylar youve been some help.

hlshield is unnecessary unless u know for sure if u have rivals out there that want your server to go out

i think latest hl beta 5408 fixes alot of bugs. but never know
