I just thought of this and I was wondering if anyone had any ideas. I know that its not something given to players like a default skin, but it is given in arms race so I don't think valves excuse of "confusing new players" works, and its not even a skin you can buy.

The knife wouldn't be banned, as all you are giving the player is a knife that has no market value or skill value.

That's what I thought, but that is not the reason that valve gave for why they banned the plugin, the reason they gave was something about it being confusing to new players.

Fluff new players, Valve is making it difficult for server owners, modders, or communities to grow. We used to teach new players what things meant, instead of no one saying anything and not allowing anything to be added. Regardless, if they believe that giving a player a knife that they made (that means nothing more than a different color) for the sake of entertaining a player, then I really don't need to be spending my time with this game. That's just me being upset at this whole new idea of CS:GO becoming something that neither of predecessors were.
