Compiles and works fine with gcc 4.1 - sourcemm-1.6.1 and sourcemod-1.0.3

Consider changing gcc-4.2 to gcc in the makefile

Why does the IRC Relay plugin when it times out never reconnect? Is it a problem with the sockets extension or the plugin?

Sometimes you can just restart the SRCDS by issuing a "quit" command and sometimes I need to stop the SRCDS flush the server DNS then restart...

Thats your problem, you didn't configure IRC correctly. The hostname isn't valid.

Yeah, I noticed that as well but can't seem to find any specifics on how/where/when you edit the hostname part. I've included my ircrelay.cfg to show what it has in it (and it still no worky worky)

These errors are not related to the extension, please ask the extension author for a fix. IRC-Relay doesn't have reconnect functionality in the latest version.

I updated the attached extension to the latest beta which runs much better than the previous stable version.
