Edit: It's gcc-multilib that is needed for spcomp to actually be recongized, see: https://github.com/50DKP/FF2-Official/pull/81 and https://github.com/50DKP/FF2-Officia...285a29e9813aab and https://travis-ci.org/50DKP/FF2-Offi...uilds/26809565
Riiight, these are 64-bit VMs and don't install the 32-bit libraries by default.

Edit: Oh well, working now! Of course, this only works because my paths match that of SourceMods, otherwise the directories would need to be different and possibly include a -i to spcomp.

What compiler are you using?
When i use the 1.6 i get errors like native is not defined _GT_OR_EQUAL_

FF2 itself is using the 1.6.1 dev compiler(Because that is what tail -1 returned):
PHP Code:
SMPACKAGE=`lynx -dump "$SMURL" | egrep -o "$SMPATTERN" | tail -1

Download vsh142_easter.zip, which contains VSH 1.42. It is attached to this post.
Download "saxtonhale.smx", which fixes some stuff in 1.42 but doesn't change the version number. It is attached to this post.

Is the saxtonhale.smx in the zip different from the attached one?

Is the saxtonhale.sp in the zip different from the attached one?

Edit: They are different according to cmd comp. I assume the attached one is the most recent version?

Probably. If the post says so, then yeah it is.

I still don't have a list of what all needs to be fixed/updated, and I can't remember the last changes I made to VSH.

I'm going to make a new thread with changes anyway. For now just my backstab rebalancing from a few months ago. I have a way to balance raging between noobs and pros too that needs discussion...

(I won't be forcing on any of the extra changes as seen on my hale server though).

There's bunches of bits of inefficient coding (uber related timer memory leaks for example), but yeah.

Edit: Welp.

This new version should work, although I still haven't added code for late loading to it (so it won't take effect until round change).
Is there any way to have an option where people can switch it on/off ?

You mean as in Hale's can turn it on and off? Not really... it just has a cvar, vsh_healthbar_enabled, which can turn it on or off.

Could it be possible to allow people turning it on/off per client? In an easy way i mean, not having to recode all the plugin

If someone wants to put the time in to add code.
