Ok, well. i have MM:Source v1.7.1 and SourceMod v1.2.0 installed on my server. but, when i put plugins into the plugins folder, and restart my server, they are not loading. i can access SM_Admin menu in-game. SM is loaded correctly, but plugins will not load.

Pluging that i am currently trying to get to work.

Are you putting the .smx in the plugins folder or the .sp?

i got KAC and Vbac working, but Ad's and Models still wont work..

i have run into this same problem, trying to use the last 2 snapshots. sourcemod-1.2.1-hg2697.tar.gz and sourcemod-1.2.1-hg2696.tar.gz

For some un-known reason no plugins will load..
SM loads but when typing "sm plugins list" into the console it says the plugins are not loaded.
On this server i only have SM default plugins loaded and sourcebans.
looking at the cvars once it's running, the only thing i see related to SM is:
sm_nextmap
sourcemod_version 1.2.1-dev

we run windows servers and are planning on going to linux.


installed server threw cpanel.

If you use Linux versions of SourceMod (as indicated by your links) on a Windows server, that could explain the strange behavior.

i don't think cpanel can be installed on a windows box. sorry i thought that was known.
this issue is on a linux box. as of right now we run our servers on a windows box, and i'm tring to set things up on a linux box so we can convert the windows box.

i have now tried 1.2.0 just to see if that would work. removed SM and installed 1.2.0 ,samething SM loads, but the plugins do not.

i have no idea why, but now they are loading.
only thing i did was change the way metamod was loading. i first had it loading threw the .vdf file and it SM wasn't loading the plugins, so i figured i would try loading metamod threw the gameinfo.txt
When that didn't work i switched it back to the .vdf

after re-reading the quote i see where you would have thought i meant i was doing this on windows. sorry for the mistake.
