Excellent.. already have it loaded up on 3 of my 4 servers. Seems to work well thank you. This is actually a really nice tool for people who are trying to demo hackers for steambans, keeps the fact that an admin has just gone into spectate a little bit more quiet. ;)

It's actually something I've been having run privately for a while now, along with a disconnect message suppression utility...I wrote that one due to basic human psychology based around the following thing I've noticed: "When people see other players leave, they follow suit", basically if the players don't see it happening, then they won't follow suit. Some players catch it, some don't, I have yet to gather any factual data on that one yet, so making it public (while not hard) isn't quite worth it (compared to this one).

I like the hide disconnected option idea because in TF2 when someone leaves, about 5 people follow usually at the end of the round. Not seeing the message may make people stay on longer, its basic psych.

Yes, could you add it to this spectate plugin?

Wonderful plugin, but I do have to agree with the two users above me. An additional plugin (or an additional feature added to this one) to allow disconnect messages to be disabled would be wonderful. And hell, if you're bored, why not a plugin that disables the message xxx has joined xxx team? .

Alright I'll implement it into this, and create a cvar. I have another plugin I need to post up first though.

Updated.

On the "joined team" message, it can't be properly blocked without potentially impeding the actions of other plugins (I think), someone else may have to confirm this.

Did you update the plugin on the first post because it doesn't seem to be creating an update .cfg when I reload it.

I've now completely removed the plugin and .cfg, re-installed it, reset the level and it's still not creating a .cfg.

Now i've restarted the server and it still isn't creating a .cfg so there must be something wrong. I did a sm plugin list and it seems to be loaded fine, just no config file.

Ok now i've grabbed the .sp and compiled it myself, i'm afraid you haven't updated the plugin on the front page because it still says, 1.0.0. Of course i'm not sure why it wouldn't create a .cfg because it wasn't a problem with the version I got yesterday.
