And SignUP (Gmail better and fast)
After signup press "It’s not my first rodeo, take me to the Panel."



After that it will ask you website name and random password (make sure you remember your website name and your pass to login) i put (alliedmodsTUT) that will be my website name




After that press "Upload your site"





Files will popup double click on double "public_html"




Top right create new folder





Now Type your Game (ex; csgo/tf2 ill choose csgo)



After that drag and drop files (.bz2)



Press "UPLOAD"


Give Secs/Mins



This what should look like




Now ill show you how you get link
sv_downloadurl "https://YOURSITE_NAME.000webhostapp.com/FILENAME/"
change YOURSITE_NAME with your site name (which mine was alliedmodsTUT) and change FILENAME with file you create (which mine was csgo)
this whats looks like
sv_downloadurl "https://alliedmodstut.000webhostapp.com/csgo/"


Make sure you add these line in server.cfg


sv_downloadurl "https://YOURSITE_NAME.000webhostapp.com/FILENAME/"
sv_allowdownload 1
sv_allowupload 0

Just drag and drop files you want To .bz2 at "Throw Your Files Here"






Open the tool and select "Throw Your Files Here" then press "OK"



Press "bzip2"

Pretty bold to call the use of a free web host and violating their terms of service the "best method".
Oh and you don't need to set sv_allowdownload to 1 (which is the default value anyways) when downloading maps of a FastDL.

i use it 6 months still my account not disable which is means im ok

sv_allowdownload 1 by default but incase someone put it 0

This disallows clients from downloading files.

sv_allowdownload 1

This allows clients to download files.

The point was that sv_allowdownload 0 works just fine when downloading maps from FastDL.

That cvar is for server it'self only, it has nothing to do with sv_downloadurl.

I guess @oqyh is mixin with clien side cvar sv_allowdownload 1
- This cvar is not flagged as REPLICATED, means not mimic with server value.
- When this cvar is disabled, client can't download files and could hang during connecting to server. Bug.

Hmm, does it work? Because I do all the steps that the guide says, when I have the files on the page, I enter l4d2 when I want to enter my local server, I get the game
I have it like this in the files
server.cfg and listenserver.cfg

sv_dowloadurl "https://stars-mark89.000webhostapp.com/left4dead2/"
sv_allowdownload 1
sv_allowupload 1

or does it only work for dedicated servers?
