Hello,

I have a weird problem. I have an dedidcated Server from OVH.com. When I install a CSGO Server on this, and adding 10-12 Bots, the sv: is red/orange. This is not normal. The CPU is: Xeon D-1520 at 2,4ghz which costs currently 200$. Im paying 71€ per month for this Server. I have no idea why the CSGO Server are running so shitty.. I already installed a default kernel 3.16 from Debian 8.7 stable jessie, still shows up red sv:... Then i bought a Root Server from gameserver.gamed.de. It costs me 24€ / month and it only has 2 vCores. On this Root, the CSGO Servers are runs smooth af. No red sv:, no lags, nothing.... I dont understand why a 200$ CPU cant fucking handle a single CSGO Server. I mean it has 8 Cores.... Here are screenshots:

The Server is clean. No plugins, nothing. Just a fresh install via steamCMD.

Can someone help me maybe? Do I need to tweak the OVH Root? idk...

and do you know what kinda spec gamed.de server is hosting on

if not you are comparing apple to oranges

Is 2,4ghz realy too low? oO That was my first thought as well.. so you need at least 3ghz+ for a good CSGO Server...

I checked something. The Server I have from gamed.de is an vServer with KVM. When i type: more /proc/cpuinfo it gives me this:

Which means the CPU has 3,4ghz ... So yeah.. even it has only 2 cores, the CSGO Server runs smoother then on a 2,4ghz 8 core CPU....
thats so sad.. so i need at least 3ghz+ for good CSGO Servers... and this shit costs us 71€.. / month

Well, we need a dedicated Server for like teamspeak and other stuff. We have also many other things to run. A Gameroot wont help us.. .We have bought a licence from Teamspeak for 300$ because we have over 200 active members in our teamspeak daily online.

you can do everything with the gameserver of ovh. If you install ogp on it than you have everything what you need. And it is awesome protected agains ddos and it is an intel i7 4790K processor with 4 core 8 threads.

And it is only 55 euro per month. You have 120 gb ssd. Thats only crap thing on that engine. If you buy now than you dont need to pay for setup.
