I really like the idea behind this plugin. It pisses me off to no end when I do 95 damage to the enemy then get behind a wall to reload and a teammate comes up and finishes him off with 5 damage and gets the credit for 1 kill.

Sure, he finished him off, but I did most of the damage and most of the work.

But why give percentages of a kill to people? Make it simple. One kill creditted to a player, for each enemy who dies. But who should get the kill??? Easy... The player who did the most damage. If I did 51 to 99 damage, and my teammate did 1 to 49 damage, I should get the kill.

And if it's a tie (I do 50 damage and a teammates does 50 damage) whoever did the damage FRIST should get the kill. NOT who closed the deal (did the last damage).

By giving the kill to the player who did the damage first, would promote players getting out there, rushing, and doing damage. And it would discourage camping.

Same thing if 3 players damaged an enemy. Say they all did 40 damage, whoever did the damage first should get the kill.

Our server has friendly fire turned on. So you would have to weed out FF damage. You wouldn't want to give credit for a kill to a player who kills his own teammate.

oh ... and i noticed i always get a frag subtracted at the beginning of a new round if i won the previous round. just tried in a 1on1 while testing another plugin.

but it is somewhat difficult to explain to stats gamers that a bug decreases their scores



EDIT: and i forgot to mention another bug which i found some months ago (perhaps its written on some earlier pages of this thread): if you play a while and the round is restarted you lose all deaths but you keep all frags. so if you restart a round you have some players with 87-0 scores ... looks kinda annoying ;)

anyone know why bomb points are being subtracted from terrorists? they get the +3 at the end of the round but at the begining of the next it is taken away
