i've seen it somewhere else but if noones in the server on a non popular map is there something that if the server is dead for lets say 20 min it will change to a more popular map ice, rats, dust2 to get popel to the server

i have a 24/7 map right now but everyone wants a cycle now that the server is popular but certain maps only last so long b4 everyone leaves

I know I've seen a plugin here that will switch to a more popular map when no one is on your server. Try searching it for it in the "Approved Plugins" and "New Plugin Submissions" forums.

[EDIT]
Here. http://forums.alliedmods.net/showthread.php?t=5437+map

I used "popular" and "map" as my search terms.

i did a quick search on the main page of plugins but didn't come across anything but i'll try again

i ahve a full server most of the time but the members in the clan are sick of rats and i am too
so we wanta map cycle but sometimes the map might not get any play so if it were to switch to rats after 15 min of noone in it it would help the traffic

I threw an edit in my last post before seeing you had posted again. FYI
