We got also crashes randomly on our TF2 server.

This could be completely unrelated, but I took off nextmap.smx and just used mapchooser.smx and my server has not crashed during map change for two days.

I had been using nextmap.smx for our map rotation w/ no voting at the end because we only ran stock maps. But my server has been crash free for two days during map change with Mapchooser.

i did the same and thought that worked. wait for it, it will happen again. it is a valve problem and error. look here: http://forums.gameservers.com/viewtopic.php?t=32927 been going on for about a month before this got posted.
