I forgot config execution order with regard to plugin loads, but I think that will work fine, at least after a map change.

sourcemod.cfg is generally a more appropriate place for SM convars.

I'd personally recommend making "ff" an admin command via overrides, since i doubt you set mp_friendlyfire to 1 on tf2, unless you run a custom gamemode which would be obvious if it was on so you really don't need that command. This command is pretty useless, as most games use some kind of other method for making FFA etc.

The default for sm_trigger_show is 0 so everyone shouldn't see it when it's spammed anyway.

God, why would you ever have had it set to show triggers?

Anyways, it's better to deal with asshats accordingly.
Block triggers, but make a plugin that replies to the client with the standard ff message. If they spam it ban them from the server after a while.

The best way to deal with that kind of behavior is to filter out those players. If you simply "fix" the problem, they will move onto the next thing.

Yeah before today it was defaulted 1 or on so glad to see this was changed from the response.
