Honestly, people on the steam forums aren't the brightest, discussing it there will not help much.

Why go through all this trouble to get different answer?

I would just have skipped the forum threads and created a support ticket in Steam's system to get an official answer. Way faster and get's the correct answer.

I'm actually tempted to buy one just to try it (and test the VAC ban, I have many accounts with CS 1.6), but I can't find it for sale in Denmark.
