OK, this is my first time compiling a plugin, but it looks like this worked correctly.

I've recompiled this plugin with cp_manor_event and cp_mountainlab added to the stock map list. I've also attached the new SP file for MapListCustomization.sp

Could someone please explain what should I do to install Powerlord's modification? There are three files: MapListCustomization.smx , MapListCustomization.sp , and mapchooser_extended.smx. Do I need to place the two .smx files in the /plugins folder and the .sp file in "/sourcemod/scripting/mapchooser_extended/"?

I only uploaded a replacement for the SMX and the source code I changed in it. The forum thought it was a complete plugin and automatically compiled it. mapchooser_extended.smx is the only file I uploaded that you need.

To use it, you need to install all the files from the the zip file from the first post, then replace addons\sourcemod\plugins\mapchooser_extended. smx from it with the version from my post

Why doesn't runoff voting get rolled into the official mapchooser? It always bothers me that HL-based games running AMXX always have runoff votes yet on source nearly no votes use runoff voting.

I just noticed the other day that when a vote came up, it was showing the person's vote twice in chat (and no I dont have ES or EST installed).

Example:
