We have been playing around with our spectate settings (for dead players and spectators) for a while now, but I think it may be a CS:GO glitch.

We have enabled "free spectate" which allows you to spectate both teams, but sometimes it lets you only spectate one team (at random - CT or T) and sometimes it lets you spectate everybody. Did I miss something or is this a game-wide glitch?

You must change the forcecamera from 1 to 0 every map change, side change, or round reset (24/7 office) in order to allow dead players to spectate both teams.

Sometimes it appears to be round reset or team swap, but it seems to happen at random (only allows you to spec certain teams, sometimes lets you spectate all, sometimes lets you spectate only the team of someone you witnessed die.)

Reporting bugs in steam forums is just as bad as posting problems about a server in steam support. Steam Forums doesn't get you much help, only from help from the community. You need to sign up with the server subscriptions. Send an e-mail to the following address to requests subscription to CS:GO Server List [email protected] that is your best place to get help for server support and only place to get help from VALVe for server support.

You are not going to get much help from Steam Support (client only) nor the Steam Forums. Just going to get a bunch guesses and incorrect answers at steam forums. (sorry to say).

Best Regards,
Krillin

^-- and bug reports can goto 64bitvps site and get voted on, but I've had no problems as you describe.. I can only guess this is a competitive setup? have you put the mp_forcecamera in the respectable _server.cfg?

edit; lol krillin: 08-19-12 old thread is old..
