[L4D2]Cant join my own dedicated server through the lobby

I recently got a new internet (30Mbps down and 3.2Mbps up), and i was excited to play on my own l4d2 server once again, but i just cant join through the lobby, if im the lobby host and i force the dedicated server with that convar, it says "no best dedicated server available" if my frined is the host and he force the dedicated server to mine one, he and everyone else joins, i get "Failed joining after 10 retires", the only way i can join my server is using the serverbrowser, never tested the connect command but it might work too.
PS: my friend have a l4d2 server and he can do that, and back in the day i was able to do it, but its not working anymore

Is the port you are hosting the server on open?
Have you tried the mm_dedicated_force_servers command?
Did you turn off "automatically discover lan games" on your client?

UPDATE: i cant connect to my server using my external IP, i can only connect using my internet IP, so it has something to do with my ARRIS modem, so what is this setting to allow this type of connect?

Start L4D2, it's in settings -> multiplayer (option at the top).

and beetween??

if internet ip for you = lan ip, so, your router doesn't have loopback function, you can join only by IP LAN

Sorry for bumping this thread like this. But it's being really hard to find information about that issue.
There isn't available any other methods of forcing this connection to my own server being the first one in the lobby? I'm hosting the game at the same PC I'm playing. I'm having this same message "Could not find best dedicated server"
