Reply With Quote #1

Greetings.

I've discovered how to make a weapon deployed in Day of Defeat, regardless of whether or not a func_deployable is present.

If you've ever seen DoD:Source, you've seen the ability to deploy on any surface that is roughly waist height, and I'd like to do the same in regular DoD.

My question is how could I go about determining if a wall or surface is that height?

I was thinking some kind of hull trace, but I wasn't sure if that was the way of going about it. Any ideas?

EDIT: Solved. Was able to run a trace from aim and 15 units below aim to test if deployable.
