I followed the instructions for installing the web panel, but whenever I try to access it I get the following error:

I even tried to access the database I'm using via HeidiSQL as suggested to another user, and it worked fine there.

Check if there is a empty line or a space " " on top of the application/config/database.php and remove it .
The first line should be

Are you sure you are using the store WebPanel and not SourceDonates ?!
If you have problems with SD, use the support system or the bugtracker
