Stand and do nothing? I can make them stay in the same position but what's the point of doing exactly nothing?

If you want to just mess around with Infected? Like move survivors to the bottom of a tall building and then switch to Infected, turn off the AI, and practice the harder Hunter pounces?

The sv_cheats equivalent of making the bots do nothing are:

sb_stop 1

director_stop/director_start

The former prevents bot AI from doing anything. The latter toggles off and on the director and infected spawning.

Just in case you wanted to add these to your plugin, those commands already do it (but of course you need sv_cheats 1). So a way of turning those on without cheats is what you're after I guess.

If all people want to do is mess about with infected and practice wall jumps etc, might as well just use the following anyway:

At main menu, open console, type "map l4d" then use the arrow keys to scroll to the map you want, make sure it's a VS mode map.
"sv_cheats 1"
"director_stop 1"
"sb_stop 1"
"sb_all_bot_team"
"z_spawn [class]" to spawn as what you want to play. For hunter, it would be "z_spawn hunter".
Some more useful commands are "noclip" and "god 1".
