Hi,

I was wondering if anyone had found out how to hook into the internal representation of the mapcycle list that the server contains. You can change the order of maps using the gui for the server so that it no longer represents the textfile that can be specified for map cycles. Therefore reading in the list for a 'nextmap' type thing seems to be pointless and redundant. The mapcycle list must be kept somewhere, so has anyone been able to find it/modify it?

Cheers for any info,

Tom

It'd be far easier to write your own map change system, honestly. Save that kind of code for faking additions to .res files

I agree that it is much easier to write my own system. In fact I've already done it, but if i can hook into the internal mapcycle representation then i can use the mp_timelimit var to do the map change which means that the scores will come up on everyones screen before the next level loads as it does when the timelimit is reached normally.
