We've been having a couple of "pro-hackers" and they seem to use steamid spoofers to bypass the sourcebans. Even though I go and input their real IP address, they keep joining. I have to manually put it in the banip cfg in the server. Am I the only one who is having this problem? (Version: 1.4.10)

This is why valve needs to implement guids for users. They could use a variety of methods to generate a unique identifier for each computer using whatever combination of stuff... Motherboard model/mfg, primary hdd partition/serial, mac address, etc. then allow this to be passed to servers/steam, or just tied to their steam id. They already do something like this for steamguard, though i do not know how tamper resistant it is. This way if you ban a steamid associated with this guid, it also bans any associated steamids. It is very annoying when kids just make new aacounts, or hop on their neighbor's wifi, or use vpn.
